The Hospital Pharmacy is one of the most important units in the structure of the hospital. Currently, it employs four masters of pharmacy, a pharmacy technician and a pharmacy assistant. The manager of the pharmacy is mgr farm. Christina Sparrow.
The basic tasks of the Hospital Pharmacy include supplying wards, laboratories and outpatient clinics with
- prescription and pharmacy drugs,
- drugs used in drug programs
- infusion fluids,
- dialysis fluids,
- dressing materials,
- suture materials,
- disinfectants,
- enteral nutrition preparations
- parenteral nutrition preparations
- drugs imported as direct imports;
In addition, the Hospital Pharmacy:
- Provides information on medicinal products;
- Supervises the safety of drugs used in the Hospital - notifies the Departments of decisions of the GIF/WIF regarding the withdrawal, suspension or re-admission of drugs to the market;
- Monitors adverse drug reactions;
- Keeps records of donations and medical samples;
- Systematically inspects ward first aid kits;
- Participates in the preparation of tender specifications;
- He co-creates general hospital procedures;
- She prepares bags for parenteral nutrition for individual patient orders for hospital wards
- He participates in the work of the Therapeutic Committee, the Pharmacotherapy Committee and the Nutrition Committee
- He conducts postgraduate internships for masters of pharmacy and traineeships for pharmacy students
